Just a myth like Churchill

Some more recent pictures that have been brought to my attention, which seem to be from Christmas/Christmas Eve.

Note that, as according to my friends, I dress like an old man as of late. Oh, and I look even less-photogenic and more awkward than usual.

The most unnatural thing you can do is take a picture of someone holding up one of their gifts:

I've got a ton of them just stacked and hidden through out my room. At last count, I had something like 76 band t-shirts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. I refuse to take pictures of people holding up their gifts.

This last Christmas my girlfriends mom insisted on having her video camera going while we opened presents and wanted all of us to hold up gifts and smile for the video. It was horrible. I don't want to see the tape.

My mom has kept video of us opening gifts for as long as I can remember. I don't really have a problem with that, but she doesn't make us smile and hold everything up. Every now and again she'll ask something like, "what'd you get?" suggesting I should hold it up, and I will usually jokingly respond, "You did get this yourself, right?" but ultimately hold it up to be nice.

It's just the photographs that don't make sense, because all they seem to do is document the gift, which is documented by the gift itself. At least video captures the atmosphere.

And I've rambled.

Actually, I own a pair of sunglasses that are practically identical to his trademark shade's. I bought them in a thrift store for 10 dollars.
