Just a quick stop here to visit family, then I leave on a Cruise Monday. We might go to Disney tomorrow too.

I know it's supposed to be the happiest place on earth, but I seriously hate Disney. Waiting on line after line, hell, you even have to wait on line for your kid to see Mickey. And the rides are really not all that great.

It's freaking COLD here. Mr. Babe and I went out to look at the new Hondas today, and walking around that lot, it was FREEZING. We were supposed to go shopping afterwards for groceries, and I quickly decided that whatever we had at home would have to do. There was no way I was getting out of the car again.

which one are you planning to buy?

We were looking at the Accord, but I think we're going to wait a little while. I have a few months left on my lease, and the salesman said it would be a lot less money if we waited.

Is car insurance more or less expensive when you lease rather than buy the car?

Sunshiny day today, and the temperatures in the mid-30s didn't feel bad at all. I played "mister Blue Sky" while I was driving my kids around today.

Who says this has to be the "Let's complain about how bad the weather is" thread? I'm with you, it was a nice day. I was in my shorts and flip-flops washing the cars in the front yard. We're lucky that we have good barbecuing weather fairly often during the winter

I agree with blibble. Tell us about the warm, sunny days with gentle, ocean-kissed breezes. Those of us shovelling snow and ice in temperatures near zero have to know whom to hate.

If I remember right Klyd, you put you're coat away last year but you had to bring it back out. So this year wait til April before you put it away.

We had a white out a while ago. It stopped for now. We got a real good dusting.

I have just woken up to see that it has been snowing! i have looked out on to my garden and it looks like a picture off a christmas card.

No snow here, but by Jove is it brutal. The fog is so thick it's almost solid clay, and I've started to wear clothes for bed. Clothes for bed!
