What a ride home from work!!! It was white-knuckle time the entire drive. We only have about an inch, but its a SLIPPERY inch of snow. I never went above 35 mph (and nobody was passing me).

We're supposed to get another few inches by afternoon, and then it turns to rain before turning back to ice later tonight. Oh joy!!

The big freeze which had lasted a couple of weeks finally went and almost instantly we got gale force winds which have blown 4 of my roof tiles off and my rubbish bin halfway to Scotland

The snow is still falling heavily here. School was canceled. My kids are thrilled, since they had off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. They only had to go one day.

We got some snow over night and every other school in the area has a 2 hour delay but not my sons. Probably because they had 3 snow days last week Mon tues Wed. Went to school on Thurs. had some school holiday on Fri then they had Presidents day off.
