That's awesome! I kived in a town once that had a traveling circus come through every year. The coolsest thing was the elephants. Not only did they perform in the shows, they gave elaphant rides. I still remember clearly taking my son on his third birthday for an elaphant ride. Most amazing was watching the elaphents do all the work -- they put up the big top tents. Thye used their trunks to host these huge wood poles. The strength and inteligence of these creatures is remarkable. I am not sure what the circus owners paid these elephants but whatever it was I am sure it was not enough.
