Just a half-frozen drizzle here... yet again the "Severe Weather Alert" was bogus here this winter. Can't complain, though - but a nice blizzard would be nice just for the hell of it! ;\)

Keeping in mind that I know how it is and spent 30 years in the cold wintry Midwest. I know most of this thread is regarding that weather, so whether or not you want to think I am "rubbing it in" is up to you, but......

Yesterday I called my sister during my lunch hour as I was in the sunshine and 80 degree temperature, walking along a mini mall. People had shorts on, convertibles driving by and that smell of "spring" in the air. As my sister told me how bad it was there, I told her, "hearing all this you just reminded me that "THIS is why I moved to California" \:p

Started snowing at like 9 last night and stopped around 7-7:30 this morning. I'd say about 2-3 inches. I am sick of winter. Weather guy says this was the wettest February in history so far. Everytime the snow melts,we get hit with another storm. Come on Spring!

We're going to hit 60 degrees today and get into the mid-50s tomorrow, but sleet, snow and ice are on the horizon.

My son has been trying out for the high school baseball team, and today is the first outdoor session. They have a beautiful day for it. My fingers are crossed as he attends a high school with over 2,000 kids, and there is no freshman team, so he's competing against older boys.
