I believe that I once read a survey about this and that is where I remember Thanksgiving Eve being mentioned as the biggest PIZZA night of the year.

If I'm not mistaken, Super Bowl Sunday was mentioned as actually the biggest OVERALL "Catering / Take out" day of the year in general.
