Thanks. \:\) The museum is on Fifth Street and Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, well worth visiting. It's housed in a former synagogue--and the Lanskys were members.

I was aware of that window through a photo I saw in a book about Jewish gangsters. But the book didn't say where it was. So, I was unaware, when I visited the museum, that it had been the very same synagogue that the Lanskys had attended, and the famous window was right there!

Yes indeed, Kly. Lansky, it seems, had an eye for Art Nouveau. If you ever get to Miami Beach, you should consider visiting that museum. Also try the Wolfsonian, a paen to Art Deco and to Agit-Prop. Sounds unlikely, but works.
