It looks too crowded.

Maybe a way to solve this is to put the text on the left, and the image on the right. You also might want to simplify the image a little bit.

here is my newest draft

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

It's personal tastes, I guess.

I'm a fan of simplicity... if I had to decide, I'd just have the blue starfish and the words "Blue Star Pools" (on the same line) next to it (the same style and font as you're using now). Put your dad's name and phone number under it (in a plain black font).

"Pools" isn't the same blue as the rest, and you're still using 3 different fonts.

Simpler the better. I made the same mistakes when I started, trust me... wink

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Hmmm, that is good Blibble, but why dull down the colors?

Oh, and I darkened the logo a bit so that the name of the company would stand out more. In case you were wondering.

And actually, like SC said, the name and number should be plain black. I meant to do that. But I'm tired and going to bed.

Try lots of different things and decide what looks best to you. Good luck on what you decide smile

I don't like the logo at all. Maybe a bigger starfish and that's it? Keep it simple. Maybe flip the dolphins and put the b in Blue between them just a bit?

If you keep the ovals you might dull them down like Blabble said.

Blue Star has a good font, use it for pools like everyone said. Plain black font for business info like everyone said.

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

The skyline looks hella cool, that's why I was curious if you somehow made it and added the lights in the sky, or changed the lighting or whatever.

I was just wondering how much of that was original and how much was put together from existing images on the net.
