Out of the other mafia novels besides GF (Omerta, The Last Don, etc.), who was your favorite character?

I think I liked Astorre best. I like the way he's characterized as the "singing assassine". Crazy people are always fun.

Aspinella was a cool character too. A little exaggerated but fun nonetheless.

You know, I came on here specifically to ask this very question, having just re-read omerta, with Astorre in mind myself!

So who are people's favourite characters in Puzo's novels? He is such a good character writer, and it seems mario likes to have these almost perfect characters in his books, who are almost too charming and too perfect, Cross de Lena, Astorre, Turi Giuliano etc.

I think at the moment, I might have to agree with you JCazale99 and say Astorre, but that might just be because I have just read Omerta again!

Is there anyone who's favourite character isn't the main ones, anyone for Pipi De Lena, or Hector Adonis?
