Kinda cool and a bit dreary in New York City today.

About 10 or 12 degrees Celsius and it's raining.

That pretty much sums up the past week in NY.

The weather has flip flopped from sunny and 80 to cloudy and in the fifties all week. Last Saturday is was a gorgeous 80 degrees out. I spent the day with my sister and spent the night at her house. I woke up Sunday and it was raining and about 50. I spent the better part of this past week with a miserable cold. This morning it was cloudy, but now it's Sunny and about 80.

Maybe since it's no longer April the showers will go away. My rose bush has loved the rain though.

We haven't had any significant rain in a very long time (which is not good of course during fire season). I do miss the big thunder showers, even after all this time in CA.

C'mon over, TIS. We're supposed to get some thunderstorms in the morning. Mr. Babe predicts he will not be playing street hockey tomorrow.

We had hardly any rain in April. It's making up for it today though. It's been raining on and off all day. Now it is really pouring out there. It's raining so hard the Direct TV went out.

Cool! I remember those days. I don't like tornados or damage/harm to anyone, but damn! Dark clouds pouring rain lights going out.....as long as you safe at home, I say "far out."

It's been lovely here the past couple days. It's still warm, but cloudy and windy. They're calling for rain off and on until Sunday. Just when I wanted to get back into walking on my lunch hour. Oh well, I'll have to carry my umbrella I guess. I have to get out of this cubicle for awhile.

It's 51 right now. I had to close my windows cuz I'm freezing. I didn't turn the heater on though.

It's suppose to be in the low 60's all weekend and rainy.

The weather really sucks today. It's the middle of May and it's only in the 40's out there. We can't even plant our garden yet cuz the plants will die if it frosts. I'm sure it will tonight.

I took the dog out for a walk and I froze. I need to dig the winter coat back out.

We get some really bizarre weather out here in the high desert:

We had no rain at all in April, and daily humidity was in the 4-9% range. Temperatures in the mid-to-high 70's, and high winds, making for extreme fire danger. Then last night it turned cold and rained. Also got some snow in the higher elevations. People are deliriously happy with the precip.

Much warmer today. In the high 60's. Turned the heater back off and already mowed the grass.

Steady rains here too...and this is the first day I took off work since early August.

Tell me about it. This is two Fridays in a row that I've been rained out of golf.

Nothing to do now but drink.
