Except for when the sausage falls off (both).

This morning I got my third flat tire since April. That makes 5 in the past 12 months. I changed this one in record time, but got mud on the knees of a pretty good suit.

This was a new tire with only a few thousand miles on it. I noticed it was low yesterday, and put air into it. They know me prettty well at the tire shop where I've been a regular over the years, and am confident they will replace the tire free of charge.

This is just freaky.

9 year-old Girl's Twin Is Found Inside Her Stomach

ATHENS, Greece — A 9-year-old girl who went to hospital in central Greece suffering from stomach pains was found to be carrying her embryonic twin, doctors said Thursday.

Doctors at Larissa General Hospital examined the girl and surgically removed a growth they later discovered was an embryo about six centimeters (more than two inches) long.

"They could see on the right side that her belly was swollen, but they couldn't suspect that this tumor would hide an embryo," hospital director Iakovos Brouskelis said.

The girl has made a full recovery, he said.

Andreas Markou, head of the hospital's pediatric department, said the embryo was a formed fetus with a head, hair and eyes, but no brain or umbilical cord.

Markou said cases where one of a set of twins absorbs the other in the womb occurs in one of 500,000 live births.

The girl's family did not want to be identified, hospital officials said.

I didn't even think of that. these guys are very nice, and have patched tires for me for free, and even talked me out of spending more for work that wasn't necessary. The owner's sons work with him and the one I usually deal with is a dead ringer for Derek Jeter.

As a matter of fact, I noticed that I had a bulge in my front tire this morning and was cursing it, as I have replaced 3 tires, and I'm fairly sure this one is newish.

I think that driving to PA might be a problem with a potential blowout, though. Curses!!!

Real Estate is the craziest thing in the world. If you are trying to sell a residential property, it will sit around forever. This morning I showed someone a warehouse. The asking price is $5 million, the building was NOT in good shape, there were leaks everywhere, so it obviously needs a new roof (and a 40,000 sq. ft. flat roof is $$$$) and the seller admits that the previous owner left it contaminated. When my client expressed his displeasure with the building, the owner just shrugged and said, "That's OK. We have two other offers already."

I just read that Shania Twain and her husband are getting divorced. I always knew she'd come crawling back to me eventually.

For the past few evenings I've been taking my evening walks at a Cementery by my house. It's about a mile walk around the Cementery. It's a nice peaceful walk. And it's amazing what they do with tombstones these days. It's interesting to see all the different last names and birth dates.

I seem to remember this happening before...this is why you shouldn't drink and drive, Yogi.

At least one winning ticket was sold for Friday's MegaMillion drawing. The winner bought the lucky ticket in a liquor store near Cincinnati, Ohio.

First place was worth $196 million.

Mega Millions winning ticket sold in Ohio

CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) -- A lucky lottery player who stopped into a suburban Cincinnati liquor store has a Mega Millions ticket worth $196 million.

Lottery spokeswoman Marie Kilbane said Friday night that the ticket for the drawing was bought from Main Street Wine & Spirits in Amelia in southwest Ohio.

Lottery officials in Georgia say just one ticket won the jackpot. Seventeen players who matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball number will receive second-place prizes of $250,000 each.

It's the first Mega Millions winning ticket to be sold in Ohio since December 1, 2006, when a winning ticket was bought in Columbus.

The winning numbers for Friday night's drawing were 6, 11, 39, 46 and 47. The Mega Ball number was 26.
