I don't know WTF happened to it, nor the Goodfellas Dialogue Game, and perhaps other large forums, but apparently they disappeared! Anyone notice any other LARGE threads missing?

I'm trying to track down the issue, but as of right now it seems they're gone.

I don't know if the server issues today had anything to do with it -- I hope not! -- but for now let's use this, and perhaps start a new one each year just in case.

Maybe they're in the witness protection program.

That does suck though. Better check to see if the photo threads are here, as they're rather large too.

The web host (server people) said it's not them - they said if the BB was a problem, they would've suspended the entire account, not delete threads. F*CK!!!!

I do have a backup from May 9th, from right before the upgrade, but then we'd lose everything since then...! I gotta see what UBB.threads says first about this...

Edit: I'm trying to find out if the host has a more recent backup if I need it...

Whew!! I thought I was losing it. Just this afternoon SC and I had a couple exchanges. I went to look for it a little while later and couldn't find it.

I've had such piss poor luck the last couple days trying to post pictures, that I didn't want to say anything, because I thought it was there, but I was NOT seeing it. A little bit later I went through the lastest 3 pages of posts looking for it. But, I knew it shouldn't have been that far back.

Well, glad I'm not losing it, but what could have happened? Maybe once you complete so many pages it self destructs. Sorry Geoff. I know it's a headache for you. I do hope you figure it out.

My guess is that the apparent deletions of the three big threads ("Goodfellas Dialogue", "What We Look Like" and "Random Post Whoring") has something to do with the number of replies in those threads.

Losing the picture thread REALLY pisses me off!

The host has more recent backups than 5/9, but I still need to find out from Threads WTF could've happened so it doesn't happen again!

This issue is so bizarre, I can't imagine what could be to blame!

But even if I have to revert back to May 9 and lose everything since - so threads will be back even if we have to start new ones... still gotta see what the problem was first...

I noticed you cleared the cache today... you may want to ask UBB if this version has an issue with clearing cache and larger post totals in threads.

That wouldn't have anything to do with it I don't think - besides, I cleared it afterwards I believe...
