Hey JG - Did the update change your "Code" specs? [code] still works, it just added more unnecessary ones that I'll probably remove

Well, they have the option of including a comment when they accept/reject trade offers. I guess they just feel your offers are just way too ridiculous to even take the time to do that... (kidding! )

(kidding! ) They send a reply of something like "I don't need someone at that position." Ok.... so what do you need? There is no way to discuss with them as far as I know. I could send them proposal after proposal and hope they eventually accept but that's frustrating as hell. So anyway, JG, do you want to trade me David Wright? I'll offer Kenji Johjima. (kidding... )

I understand. It definitely would be easier if they were members here... I'm not a big "trader" type, y'all know that. Probably ever since I traded away LeBron James to Plaw for a bench full of scrubs. And I always over-question trade offers, cuz the other guy thinks they're getting the better end of it (otherwise they wouldn't have made the offer), so why should I accept?? It's not like they're trying to improve MY team!

It's not like they're trying to improve MY team! I think that's true for the most part because whoever is proposing a trade is doing it because they think it will improve their team. But I think most of us know that in order to improve our own teams we have to be willing to trade away players that will also improve the others guys team as well. In most cases both teams benefit from a trade but you can't truly decide who benefited more until the final standings at the end of the season. Plaw on the other hand... I wish I had his trading skills because I might actually be able to get Wright for Johjima

Last I checked, I already have 2 competent (yet streaky) backstops, thanks. ...not that Wright has lived up to that ridiculously overhyped "#5 Overall" position anyway.

Is there a way to communicate with The Outsiders? I enjoy discussing trades with the rest of you on here but for them I'm not sure what to do. When my trade proposal's are rejected I want to know what they are thinking... if it was just a bad trade offer but they are still interested in talking, or if I'm asking for a player they don't want to trade, etc...
I have a question for BB (and eventually the others I'm sure), but I don't know how to contact him.
Hmmmm... Tough one BL. I've mentioned the board to them many times, so it's not a matter of publicity. I see a few options for you: - You can make a general post on Yahoo asking for feedback. - You can do the same thing, but on your individual trade offers. - Each member's email address (except for BB) is listed under "Members" - you can try emailing them directly. Since BB doesn't have his email address on there, I can forward to him something if you'd like (but I'll do it only once because (i) I'm sure you don't want to have a go-between everytime you want to communicate and (ii) I don't want to be a middleman ). Sorry I can't be more help. If there's anything else you think I can do (short of making it mandatory to register on the boards ), just let me know.

Wow. Jason Werth had 23 points yesterday. That might be a position player record. ...And DB had him benched. Josh Hamilton had 23 too. I'm not sure if any pitcher of mine has scored that many pts in one day A "DNP" is no big deal in this game. For the most part, my roster is "set it and forget" except for minor adjustment here and there. that must free you from the pain that this stupidafockin game causes me. I'm planning a PhD theory on the cosmic influence of my moves on the real players.
