Where do you work, Longneck? Night crew at a local supermarket. I've built a lot of muscle and lost a belt notch. Not sure how much I weigh now but usually I'm around 150... I'm even getting a six pack along with my muscles. But my back and knees always hurt. The Schedule says 10pm-6am but it's always 10pm-anywhere from 7am-10:30am. But the overtime should be nice on my paycheck...which I get today. This job pays more than working at the service desk, which makes no sense to me. At the service desk I had access to up to $20,000 cash...

Oh yeah. Leave your 8 year old behind when armed gunmen storm your house. Parents Fleeing Home Robbery Leave 8-Year-Old Son Behind Wednesday, May 21, 2008 The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says parents of an 8-year-old boy left their son behind when two armed men burst into the home and killed the family dog. Authorities say the boy was not injured, and the suspects fled the house before deputies arrived. The same two men tried to rob Kevin Dummett, 35, and Kellin Hahn, 26, twice on Tuesday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said. Hahn and Dummett fled the home, leaving their son asleep in his bedroom, the Palm Beach Post reported. The Sheriff's Office says a Pitbull-mix dog charged the two suspects. One of them shot and killed the dog. Another family dog survived. Dummett told police that the robbers apparently wanted drugs or money. Nothing has been reported missing, and no charges have been filed. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

I'm going to KY this weekend to get nice and muddy four wheeling. Have you ever tried Vaseline instead of KY?? Maybe you won't get so muddy??

Eeek. I just walked down the hall to go to my receiving department. That's the hallway the Funeral Homes transport the dead bodies through too. I went around the corner and came way to close to a stretcher with a body bag on it for my liking. I have visions of horror movies when an arm plops out of the bad. As we sing around here, "Another on bites the dust, hey, hey". The Col has a cousin in KY that works in a funeral home. One night he gave us a tour of it. It was freaky when he showed us the casket room and that room where they work on the bodies.

You reminded me that I had meant to post that on the 18th my grandmother turned 94.. I had previously mentioned that she has smoked a pack a day for the past 75 years and is nearly blind. She also drinks Manhattans like there's no tomorrow.
Bless her heart. My worker's grandmother will be 101 on August 1. She talked about all the stuff the "oldtimers" used to do. My coworker has a cold and her grandmother told her to buy Castor oil. You can't even find that stuff these days.

Not sure how many people here listen to Christian music. I don't listen to a lot, but I know Steven Curtis Chapman's name. This is a sad story. Daughter, 5, of Christian Music Star Steven Curtis Chapman Killed by SUV Driven by Teen Brother Thursday, May 22, 2008 NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 5-year-old daughter of Grammy-winning Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman was struck and killed Wednesday by a sport utility vehicle driven by her brother, authorities said. The girl, Maria Sue, was hit in the driveway of the family's home Wednesday afternoon by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by her teenage brother, said Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The brother, whose name and exact age weren't available, apparently did not see the girl, McPherson said. No charges are expected. "It looks like a tragic accident," she said. Several family members witnessed the accident, which happened in Williamson County just south of Nashville. The girl died later at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway said. In a statement, Velvet Kelm, a publicist for Chapman, said Maria was the Chapmans' youngest daughter. Chapman, who is originally from Paducah, Ky., and his wife have promoted international adoption and have three daughters from China, including Maria. They also have three biological children. The singer's Web site says the couple was persuaded by their oldest daughter to adopt a girl from China. The experience led the family to adopt two more children and create Shaohannah's Hope, a foundation and ministry to financially assist thousands of couples in adoption. The Chapmans did missionary work at Chinese orphanages in 2006 and 2007, according to the Web site. "After our first trip to China, my wife and I knew our lives were changing -- our eyes and hearts were opening to how big God really is, and we have wanted to experience more of that," Chapman says on the Web site. "We've really wondered whether or not we should just go to China and stay there. But I don't think so. I believe God is saying, 'I want you to go, get your heart broken, your eyes opened, and then take this story back to the church in America and around the world."' The 45-year-old singer also has released a book about being a father titled "Cinderella: The Love of Daddy and his Princess." He has won five Grammy awards and 54 Dove awards from the Gospel Music Association, according to Kelm.
