Its money i resent because it only takes the bloke about 6 seconds to do it....

What's a "wheelie bin"?

A green bin on wheels that we have to put our rubbish bags in.
Every week the rubbish men come to empty it!

We also have a brown one for garden waste (thtat gets emptied fortnightly) and a blue one for recycling(also fortnightly).

Another stealth tax these brown and blue bins!

Just a reason to lift the Council Tax a bit higher

OK... we call them "garbage cans" here.

Criminals rip us off - we complain.
Government rips us of - we let them.

Go on, let the criminals get a peice of the action.

We used to have tin bins in the old days but they were forever getting bashed and turned into fires by the over ebullient youths!
Apparently it was also to hard for the nice rubbish collection fellas to lift the old bins up and to many were going on the sick with bad backs

Now with these lovely plastic wheelie bins,they can roll them to the wagon and put them on the lift at the back.

Of course where there used to be crews of 5 or 6 collecting the rubbish now there are only 3 because it is easier!

So should'nt my council tax go down, not up?

You would think so, right? But the government will tell you that the costs of making new trucks with automatic lifts costs a lot of money and they need taxes to pay for them.

I love chocolate covered pretzels. Also, pretzel nuggets filled with peanut butter are delightful.

I prefer to just eat them and become fat pigs.

I have had chocolate covered potato chips. i like the pretzels better because the chips are too thin to add much flavor contrast to the chocolate.

I hate strawberries, even though we grow them. Mr. Babe planted a bunch a few years ago, and they have just multiplied like crazy. Luckily, I am the only one in the house that doesn't eat them.

What can I say? For years, my kids thought I was allergic to them. Kids tend to dislike what their parents do (at least until they hit about 12 years of age), so I lied to them and said that I LOVED strawberries, but was allergic. They felt rather betrayed when I told them the truth.

What truth?? That you're a picky eater??

Truth be told, I just don't like the seeds being caught in my teeth.

And, judging by the fact that I can fit in my daughter's HUGE old clothes, I must not be THAT picky!
