I HATE THE FUCKING SUMMERTIME!!!

I hadda go out for a few hours this morning, and I am COMPLETELY wiped out from the heat. It took me a few minutes to peel off my t-shirt when I got home ... it was literally stuck to my skin.

It's already 96° here but I'm comforted that it could be worse. It's 101° by Geoff now!

A local news flash - Roosevelt High School (here on Long Island, and the same school that Howard Stern went to) had to be closed because students and teachers started passing out from the heat.

Bring on those thunderstorms - it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow!

I had to go down Grand Central early this morning. I left my house at 5am and it was already stifling. It's just gotten worse as the day has progressed.

What a difference today. It's 79 right now and we got a nice breeze out there. It looks like it wants to rain but it hasn't yet.

When does school go out there? Our last day was the 5th here.

Middle of June. The City is the end of June.

We didn't get our 4:00 thunderstorm as promised. It was still stifling hot when I left work. I took my umbrella because they said showers between 3:00-4:00. I stood there like a fool.

The weatherman just said it's still 95 degrees out. As I sit here it does look like it's getting dark out. Hey, only 3 hours late, but I'll take em. Of course that would mean I'll have to shut the upstairs windows.

The sun is still shining here. I wish it would just rain and get it over with.

8:00 and still no rain. It doesn't look like we'll get any either.

I just hope their forecast of only being in the 80's tomorrow at least pans out.

I just checked your radar, Beth, and it looks like you may get some rain in an hour or so.

The temperature here dropped to 80° thanks to the sea breeze, but I still have the a/c cranking.

It's 71 here now and I still have my A/C going.

My a/c will be cranking in my bedroom tonight. Hopefully I'll get my first good night's sleep in about 4 nights.

Beth, those t-storms should be knocking on your door real soon.

I'm jealous. I want a big thunder boomer. Tell you what, I'll trade you one California earthquake (let's say a small itsy bitsy 2.0) for one big ol' mama storm. What do ya say?

Did anyone see the news footage of those houses tumbling into the river in Wisconsin?? OMG! It was awful.
