I actually washed Mr. Babe's paycheck once when he left it in the back pocket of his pants. It was completely shredded. He had to go to HR and ask for a new check. And they all made fun of him for "laundering money".
And then they paid him with a rubber check (so it wouldn't get ruined in the washing machine). Of course the check bounced.
