How do you like the Az climate? Do you miss that good 'ol humidity????? Still though, hot is hot.

Very very nice here today with the high to reach about 88/90. The sun is shining, the birds are singing. I just got done washing my car, and it's so warm already (11:00 a.m.)that my car practically dried itself.

A very beautiful day out there. It rained on and off yesterday but I was glad it did my garden needed that rain water.

A chilli 58 now. It's only going up to 65 today.

The clouds are rolling away leaving temps in the low 70s. We had scattered storms last night that cooled things down. we're not supposed to hit 80 all week.

We're supposed to be in the 70s here. We got a terrible storm last night, complete with small hailstones, thunder and lightning. My younger daughter is still terrified of storms, so she spent all her time at the window or the back door.

I was up your way this morning, Babe. I was supposed to play golf at Blue Hill, in Orangetown, but there are trees down all over the place. I ended up having breakfast in the clubhouse, then heading home.

I used to work in Blue Hill Plaza, that monstrosity that you must have passed. Doesn't look TOO out of place in suburbia, does it?

It's amazing, because the Palisades Parkway is so serene and beautiful, then BOOM, it's like the downside of Oz on the horizon.

My office was on the 11th floor. Great views of NYC from our conference room, which actually were rather awful on September 11th. I'll never forget that sight.

However, I did wear a sweater at work. They crank up the air so high I'm freezing. But yea, everyone laughs at me. Someone will accidently say "is it hot outside" and looking at me, realize who they're asking, and we all laugh. I do love summer tho.

TIS, the older I get, the less able I become in dealing with the summer. The heat never bothered me as a kid... I'd run around all day long in 90+° weather and wouldn't be bothered by it. Now, if I even hear on the radio that the temperature is gonna be 90° I start to sweat and get tired. I really hate a/c but I'd be dead without it now.

I wanna move to Vermont.

Actually, joking aside, and in spite of the fact that I tend to "take" the heat better than most, I do agree. I will not choose to stay out in the 100 temp unless I have to.

Ideally, for me, 80/85 degrees would be perfect. And to go further in my idea of "ideal" weather - 80/85 with no earthquakes/hurricanes/tornados, or snow and at least one monthly thunder storm for the excitement.

Well, that would be my "ideal". If you find out where that place is let me know will ya?


Anyway, I certainly can't complain about the weather though hu???? All things considered it really doesn't get better than this.

Lot of rain over here recently.

SC, I find the opposite to be true. I'm finding as I get older, the cold weather gets harder and harder to take, and the warm weather feels delightful. It's been in the 70s and been raining on and off for a few days. I want SUMMER!

According to a radio show I was listening to, today is the last day of spring. I thought we were in summer already

Sun's out now, but it's still cool...around 70. It drizzled for a little bit around noon.
