Damn, I'm not only the oldest but the shortest. Such a thrill. For my high school graduation they had us march by height....I was the second in line. The girl ahead of me was under five feet. Seriously, when I was young I wanted to be tall, but I don't care much anymore. EXCEPT... and you can probably relate,I do have a step stool to reach the high cupboards. Sometimes I wish I could just open the cupboard door and get whatever I'm reaching for without the hassle. Life is tough. Oh, and while I'm bitching. My door has a "peephole" so you can see who's there. Well, they made it for giants, because I need a step stool to see who's at my door. TIS

TIS When I first read that I thought you said "pee hole". Man, no privacy. I hate it when I go to a hotel and they have those peep holes. I just can't have any visitors cause I can't see, so I'm not letting you in.

I'd genuinely like to be able to quote Bible extracts at will; I'd like to be the best atheist I can by being endlessly aware of Christian doctrine. Luis Bunuel knew Christianity more than practitioners of the faith. I'd also love to comprehend the great philosophers more: Nietzsche, Sartre, Wittgenstein; if I could get to terms with Kant's transcendental idealism, I think it might save me a lot of vexation at times.

I find our need for a God a very outdated notion. I feel organised doctrines in His name necessarily and inevitably manipulate (/shelter"/"protect"/"help") masses of people out of individuality, that there are several wars happening right now in some God's (/Allah's/Whomever's) name, that vague, conceptualised terms such as Fundamentalism and Fascism are interchangeable.

I wouldn't. Even if I had things I'd change, I'd feel the need to change them because who I am as a whole; and the whole is only the sum of the parts.
