Gina, great commercial. To get votes for Giambi, the Yankees poked fun at his "good luck mustache" by giving out 20,000 fake mustaches last night at the stadium. Just for you, I went on and voted for Lee (and Giambi).

Thanks for the vote, SB! Besides that crazy commercial, they keep working this "Vote for Carlos" graphic into the broadcasts however and whenever they can, and the announcers have even admitted it's like they're brainwashing us...haha

I remember catching a Yankees broadcast a few days ago (Fox or ESPN), and I saw a group of fans all wearing those fake mustaches. I guess they had their own before the giveaway, but now I can imagine the thousands of fans walking around wearing those things.

If you can believe, last night was the only time I voted. (And only once for the starting All-Stars! I think I've lost my spirit for that... ) I usually don't vote for any AL'ers since I don't know them as well, so I guess I at least didn't hurt Giambi's chances!

Despite seeing my NL'ers lose yet again, what an amazing All-Star game! I was proud of Tejada for his great work, Berkman at least got a sac fly, and the whole game was a lot of fun to watch.

I'm watching some of the Yankee/Oriole game and wondered who you thought should throw out the final pitch at Yankee Stadium. Yogi would be good, but he was part of the All Star celebration, should don't know how "special" that would be. I also see the Orioles play the last game there.

I saw that. I thought of the time that Elaine saw JFK, Jr. in the gym. Man, he was good-looking. It's hard to believe he's gone.

The Yankees game is fairly depressing right now. WTF?? Why is Mo even in right now? This is not exactly a save situation.

Now she's mad that we acquired LaTroy Hawkins from the Yankees because he apparently hit (or almost hit) Luke with a pitch in a game a while back. As devoted as she is, he might as well agree to marry her, which I'm certain she'll propose if they ever meet.

We're going to go see the Astros face the Mets tomorrow, and if we're lucky, we'll get a free Lance Berkman bobblehead - though you wouldn't know it was him by looking at it. We're famous for promotional items that look little like the players. haha It's supposed to be Pedro tomorrow, and a Johan v. Oswalt matchup Saturday, which I'm hoping turns out to be a fun pitcher's duel.
