Freddie, only thing I know is that Bale has said that if Nolan doesn't return, he won't either.

But if DARK KNIGHT does enough $$$, yeah Nolan will return (no fired-off like WB did to Tim Burton after BATMAN RETURNS) and who knows...maybe those rumors of Nolan getting involved with the stalled JUSTICE LEAGUE movie w/ Bale as Bats will indeed happen.
