He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Yogi, are you SURE it's the dog?? There are rumors about that many husbands and fathers fart, and then simply blame the dog. Not saying that's what you're doing, I'm just saying.

Seriously though, Santino, that other forum should be reserved for published works that we members may want to know about.

Reminds me of this story:

A guy goes to pick up his date for the evening. She's not ready yet, so he has to sit in the living room with her parents.

He has a bad case of gas and really needs to relieve some pressure.

Luckly, the family dog jumps up on the couch next to him. He decides that he can let a little fart out and if anyone notices they will think that the dog did it.

He farts, and the woman yells, "Spot, get down from there."

The guy thinks, "Great, they think the dog did it." He releases another fart, and the woman again yells for the dog to get down.

This goes on for a couple more farts. Finally the woman yells, "Dammit Spot, get down before he shits on you."

Buddy Hackett: "Women never fart . . . but sometimes they're near a dog that does."

He was the funniest standup that I ever had the pleasure of seeing in person. Don Rickles was a close second.

No.

...but I haven't read it either.

I like it. Haven't seen it in years, but remember watching it late at night after the Twilight Zone (which btw, I prefer more than OL)when I was younger. But yea, it's good. smile

TIS, you're looking quite spiffy with that new avatar!

I finally caught a new TZ episode...well, part of one and part of another, so I guess it wasn't enough to judge. But I already knew I'd be stubborn about it, and treat it as the original's Blues Brothers 2000. lol

I finally discovered those famous TV listings about a week ago. Until then, I'd thought they were just a myth.
