Back in my convenience store days, 11pm-7am was funnest, to say the least! Nothing like a bunch of drunks after bars closed to sell subs, condoms, and caffeine pills! 7am-3pm wasn't too bad sometimes, but getting up early for the morning rush was meh. 3pm-11pm was kinda a wasted day since you couldn't really do much, and there wasn't any nightlife.
The best shift I ever had was when I was counseling, 11am-7pm (usually done by 6pm)... didn't have to get up early, and was home early enough to have a nightlife.
The worst was ~9am-6pm, but I was 1.5+ hrs away so really left the house at 7am and got home at 8pm. The job was GREAT, but those hours sucked.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol
