Mr. Babe's cholesterol has been in the upper 200s since he was in his 20s (which means probably all his life). He's been on meds for years, and has his blood tested every 3 months to check his liver enzymes.



Cholesterol meds also deplete your body of the essential enzyme CoQ-10. If your doctor hasn't recommended it as a supplement (and a lot of doctors fail to do so), do some research on it. It's ESSENTIAL for cardiac health. It'll run you about $30 a month in GNC or your local drug store. I wouldn't even think about taking a statin without it.
