Douche Bigelow: Welcome sports fans as we welcome you live from the GangsterBB Fantasy Football Arena. I'm Douche Bigelow and with me is my co-commissioner, JG.

JG: Thanks DB. I have one question for you. Are you ready for some football??!! Let me repeat that! Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!

Douche Bigelow: I know I am. This is the sixth year we've had this league on the GBB and as always, this league is by invitation only where the GBB's best of the best of the best will match their wits and skills as they battle towards the GangsterBB Bowl. Our defending champion, DMC, is ready and willing to defend his GBB Bowl Ring.

JG: To keep everything nice and simple, we'll be using the same scoring system as last year. We'll be back with further details (league settings, scoring, etc...) but all I can say is it's going to be a blast!

Douche Bigelow: And now here's a look at our teams:

Blibble - BL
Day Dreaming - JD
Douche Bigelow - DB
Gridiron Goombah - GO
He Hate Me - FC
JL - JL
NJ Giants - JG
Pigeons - KL
Salford Steelers - TU
The Finest Kind - DJ
The Longneck Eels - LN
Yao's China Buffet - BB
Yogis Devils - YO
DMC - DM

Care to give any thoughts, JG?

JG: Well, DMC is our defending champ and he's always tough. Goombah and DB are previous winners as well and they always seem to have good teams. BL is trying to prove that he can play more than baseball and LN is trying to see if he can break DB's record for the largest number of transactions in one season. Overall, the field looks great!

Douche Bigelow: Thanks JG. And now a word from our sponsors...

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

...And what number am I shooting for here?

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Where's the pleasure in that?

And who likes to trade and who would I be wasting time offering trades to?

Looks like the Cardinals will be starting one-time fantasy great (and still productive) QB Kurt Warner. The Matt Leinart era seems to have never gotten off the ground in Arizona.

I'll take Ryan Leaf. Those Colts are gonna look like idiots in a few years when Archie Jr. is losing games like his daddy and Leaf is leading the Chargers to Championships.

TEAM 1

Peyton Manning
(Ind - QB)

Marvin Harrison
(Ind - WR)

Santana Moss
(Was - WR)

Devin Hester
(Chi - WR)

LaDainian Tomlinson
(SD - RB)

Ricky Williams
(Mia - RB)

Dallas Clark
(Ind - TE)

Edgerrin James
(Ari - RB)

Patrick Crayton
(Dal - WR)

DeAngelo Williams
(Car - RB)

Dustin Keller
(NYJ - TE)

Kurt Warner
(Ari - QB)

Mason Crosby
(GB - K)

Indianapolis
(Ind - DEF)

Carolina
(Car - DEF)

TEAM 2

QB
Eli Manning
(NYG - QB)

Marvin Harrison
(Ind - WR)

Devin Hester
(Chi - WR)

Patrick Crayton
(Dal - WR)

Marion Barber
(Dal - RB)

Ricky Williams
(Mia - RB)

Dallas Clark
(Ind - TE)

David Akers
(Phi - K)

Indianapolis
(Ind - DEF)

Anthony Gonzalez
(Ind - WR)

Willie Parker
(Pit - RB)

Reggie Wayne
(Ind - WR)

Kevin Smith
(Det - RB)

Philip Rivers
(SD - QB)

DeAngelo Williams
(Car - RB)

Smith and Wayne are pending a trade. I get them for Larry Johnson and Wes Welker. I feel it is worth it to get Wayne. Johnson is a question mark and Kevin Smith may end up being worth more. If not, I have the depth to cover it.

I'm trying to trade DeAngelo Williams for a WR. I will end up trading him or dropping him for a WR to cover the week 4 bye. I have the whole Indy receiving corps. Harrison, Wayne, Gonzo, Clark.

If Leinart is going to have any type of career, it's going to be outside of Arizona. He looked absolutely awful this weekend.

I hear Da Bears need a QB, wait no, they have 2.

The Bears having two quarterbacks is a bit stretching it. They have two guys who have the capability of throwing the ball... sometimes.

The Bears have two QBs in title only. I'd rather have Matt Leinhart throwing right-handed than Orton and Grossman.

DS - are Chicago fans angry at management's decision to not obtain a QB in the offseason? Is that Lovie Smith's call or do they have a GM?

The Bears have an awful GM named Jerry Angelo. Lovie's just followed the company line re: Grossman. Angelo was the spin-doctor of the Chris Williams debacle. Chris Williams was the Bears first round pick this year (10th pick). It turns out that the guy has had a disc problem since college and he re-hurt the disc during the 2nd day of camp. He recently had season-ending surgery. Anyway, Angelo kept spinning a tale about how this was a new injury, so it wouldn't seem like he just drafted badly.

Wow, that is inept drafting. He must have Cleveland ties somehow. wink Or at the very least, Cincinnati Bungles.

I don't know if I'm gonna have any time to research this game... I'll probably have half a team of injured players! whistle

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

J Geoff:

Here are some injured fantasy players:

Chad Johnson - shoulder
Jamal Lewis - hammy
Derek Anderson - concussion
Ronnie Brown - recovering from ACL last yr
Peyton Manning - offseason knee surgery (just practiced for 1st time Wed)

I know there are plenty more, but these came to mind quickly.
