I extrapolated from that to perpetuate the pun into saying, facetiously, that she (my realtor) told me to "stand up straight."

Then I took it a half-step forward, since when one is punched in the face, one alledgedly "sees stars" -- which is a double-pun with the Hollywood reference ("movie stars").

Lastly, asking for a tissue, is a result just once seen in The Godfather film, but an ongoing issue for Michael in the novel, when he ends up with sinus problems, and ultimately needing surgery for such.

Oh, and it's not that hard to keep a bathroom clean. You just need some Tilex and a scrubby sponge. Oh, and some Windex for the mirrors. And some paper towels. And if you have soap scum or lime stains, then you need CLR for bathrooms. And of course the toilet brush, although I use Tilex on the toilet instead of buying separate toilet bowl cleaner. And if you have those pesky shower doors, nothing works better than Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I don't what is in that little sponge, but it truly is magic.

The easiest way for me to keep a bathroom clean is to not use it -- so having one for guests would be great!

I have to be honest, I hate cleaning. I really do. The happiest days of my life were when we had a cleaning lady, and I'd come home from the office and Rosalinda and her girls would have the house all sparkly and smelling like bleach. I miss those days so very much.

Geoff, the choice is really quite simple. A condo has extra monthly maintenance fees that are not tax-deductible. The benefit is that you don't have to deal with the work. No lawn to mow, no snow to shovel, no leaky roof to fix. A house doesn't have those extra fees, but there is always work that needs to be done. If it's not a leaky roof, then it's a leaky faucet.

If one of the only reasons you want a house is for a basement (I'm a little scared to think about what you'd be doing down there ), then look into a townhouse that has a garage. They usually have a family room off the garage.

Yeah, I've been looking at townhouses and homes with garages -- I need lots of storage space. I only would love a basement so I could make all the noise I want and not worry about neighbors (no, not chainsaw noises, but guitar amps ).

Well, it sounds like you really want a house. I like having a house because of the privacy. Like I said, feel free to ask advice. I am top-notch at getting what I want in a deal. Remember, McCluskey only wants a commission, not what's best for you. We're a rather disgusting breed that way.

Went to Popcorn Fest today from 9am-4pm. My wife and I might have stayed and listened to the bands play for another few hours but my mom's hip and knees were bothering her.

Didn't buy all that much at the booths. My wife (pink), mother (blue), and I (blue) all got Colts hoodies for $18 each. Pretty cheap for a hoodie and they are comfy. My wife got a necklace, I got 2 hats for $7. Seems like they had more stuff last year.

Got a little sunburned. Whoever was in charge of the parade should be fired. There were 5 minute gaps between floats sometimes, and it got started 15 minutes late!

Plenty of free water around but that didn't stop people from selling bottles for $1.00. I took a backpack and had drinks in it. The food wasn't all that great. Grilled corn was good, smoked pork on a stick wasn't. Fried veggies sucked. My wife got her usual perogies, even waiting a half hour to get them!

A lot of people there, the brochure says usually about 60-75,000 people. I'd believe it. Thing is, only about 28,000 people live in Valpo.

Shit! Someone stole one of everyones shoes at the party I was at last night including one of mine. Who steals one shoe?!
