In Baseball? I win!

Hmm, maybe that would get me to sleep. A baseball game.

With the postponement of the Ravens-Texans game affecting some of the scores for this week, how is this going to work with regards to the W/L column? Will those of us who are in a matchup with players affected not receive a W/L until the game is completed?

I'm not 100% sure but I figured the postponement of the game would cause earlier bye weeks for those two teams. That means you probably shouldn't have started players from that game (much like you wouldn't start players who are on bye week).

I didn't, but Turi did, which is why I'm wondering. He has Baltimore's defense.

I am gutted. I can't go 0-2!

Hope the Ravens defense thing wont count as a strike against me. I never even heard the news until I was out on Sunday and by that time I'd already made my picks.

*whine alert*

I'd like to thank John Kitna for throwing 3 INTs, 2 returned for TD's, in the final 5 minutes of the game against GB. It almost assures DB a victory this week, since he has GB's defense. mad

I should also thank the referees in the SD/Den game for taking away the Bronco's fumble, and giving them 8 more points.

It won't Turi. I had to make a few last minute changes myself, so I know how last minute the news actually came.

Did any of you guys see the bone-headed play one of the Eagles receivers made last night on MNF? DeSean Jackson seemingly scored a TD when he scored on a long bomb from McNabb. The trouble came when right before he crossed the goal line, Jackson celebrated a little bit too early and flipped the ball behind him (thinking he had already crossed). Initially ruled a TD, the call was reversed upon review and the Eagles got the ball on the one yard line (it would have been a fumble and change of possession had any Cowboy picked up the ball). Brian Westbrook eventually scored.

Luckily, it didn't affect any of our teams (I have Jackson and Blibble still won against Goombah, who has Westbrook).

I can't say the same about these other leagues. eek

Jackson's antics cost many fantasy owners

Heard a lot of people on ESPN about it saying they lost a McNabb TD or Jackson TD, or Westbrook got one more TD that beat them.

I would like to trade for a backup TE with a different bye week than mine. Otherwise I'd have offered JL a trade for Donald Lee.

I'm still interested in trading 2 Running backs for 1 as well.

Apparently DB tried to screw me outta 6 pts, and gave one of them to LN! tongue I fixed the final numbers and added the standings (above).

The NFL must have had some post-Monday scoring changes. If I was going to screw you out of points, I should have done it in Week 1. tongue

They took away a Roethlisberger sack and gave him a catch instead.

Quote:
PITTSBURGH (AP)—Cleveland had another small setback on Thursday when the Elias Sports Bureau took away a Browns sack and gave Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a pass reception from Pittsburgh’s 10-6 win Sunday night.

The sack was originally credited to the Browns’ Shaun Smith. The play was ruled a sack for a 7-yard loss. After reviewing the videotape, Elias changed the play to a successful pass for Roethlisberger because the ball came out of his hand, struck a teammate in the back and rebounded to the quarterback, who was tackled by Smith.

The ruling takes away one of the Browns’ three sacks and changes Roethlisberger’s passing statistics from 12-of-19 to 13-of-20 for 176 yards. It also lowers his NFL-leading passer rating from 136.3 to 133.9.

The Browns (0-2) travel to Baltimore and play the Ravens on Sunday.
