In reviewing the original Godfather book, I just ran across where Calo was also killed in the bomb blast that killed Applonia. Yet he was resurrected in the GF3 movie to help Michael in Sicily. Has anyone else been brought back to life to appear in another of the movies?

The Calo situation that you point out is one of several inconsistencies between the book and the movie(s).

You are correct. In the book Calo does die. But in the movie he does not.

I also don't realy enjoy the Godfather part III but Vincenzo being a "ladies man" didn't realy put me off

As I said in another post, Calo actually does get killed in the movie. I mean, he is shown going right up to it to put the luggage in right before it explodes. Yet, either FFC forgot this happened or else he figured no one would remember that anyway when he did 3.
