Wouldn't other mobsters be offended by rule breaking/changing? After all if the boss can break rules, whats to stop the average soldier?
Because the boss makes the rules.. If the soldier doesn't like it he can certainly make his displeasure known. His survivors and heirs can speak proudly of his courage..
