I like to mess around here and there in Photoshop and I know Blibble does too, not sure who else if anyone here does, but I thought we could post some works here. Here is my latest...

I have never used Photoshop, but I use a open source software called GIMP. It is powerful enough for an advanced user but not suitable for professional print/publishing work.
I was always interested in restoration work than image manipulation. This is my page at Retouchpro, a forum for photo restoration. Remember this was when I started out learning it in 2003 and my skills are far better today than then. To see the original damaged photos, you will have to navigate through some more links (restoration challenge numbers). I haven't been there in years and stopped doing restoration work ever since I had RSI some years ago. My best work is my restoration of my parent's 40 year old photo. I don't feel like putting it out on web. If someone's interested, I can mail.

Least sacked team who knows how many years in a row...and we drafted like 3 O-Linemen.

I'd make fun of the Giants here in my next line but there's not much I can say. I would have said "Maybe I could photoshop a running game for the Giants" or "Maybe I could photoshop the playoffs for the Giants" but nooooooooo. Hadda go ruin it.

I should go through the members photos and "find" embarrassing photos of BB members....

Cool! clap

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

not bad for a first-timer, you should stroke the top gangster bb to cover up the edge that's on part of it and move the 2nd one down just a bit to get it all in the lighter part of the pic.

Not bad, using the godfather text blurred as a filler was a good idea for a beginner.

Keep messing around with it and use your creativity and you'll do fine.

When I was done with it, I noticed that the transparent people, with the white letters behind them, made it look kinda ghostly

you could also try filter>render>clouds for backgrounds, use a couple other filters to mess it up and make it look cool or take a picture and filter the hell out of it for a background, or combine the 2 ideas.

And at the bottom left on the layers thingy there's an f, it's filters. On the text you could do stroke, or drop shadow (or both) to make it stand out more.

I'm Captain Jack Sparrow so the cost was nada. Adobe Photoshop CS3, you can do some neat stuff with it and it's not that hard to use once you figure out what you're doing, but I'd never pay the prices they want to charge for it -- and that's coming from someone who uses it about every day.

I don't love the starfish, but the rest is nice. I like the font in Blue Star, but I personally would have kept the color and the font for "Pools".

Yeah, it sounds like something a used automobile sales man with a bad hair piece from Cincinnati would say in a cheaply made commercial that he filmed with a $300 Canon camcorder and edited on Windows Movie Maker.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

We had a pool when I was growing up, and don't recall ever having dolphins or starfish swimming in it. whistle A green pool is a turn-off, unless you like algae, so perhaps not putting the word "pool" in green would be a plus. And yeah, don't use too many different fonts. Rent the documentary "Helvetica", the most common/modern/professional font (a.k.a. Arial) used in the world.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Maybe it is a card advertising his pool pest control business. "Got pesky dolphins? We kill them the environmentally green way!"

I don't think Santino has dolphins in his pool either. Maybe he put them in the logo on porpoise, though.
