I lost by eight. I had a QB on my bench that scored 17. Late inactives suck.

I know exactly how you feel. Orton, on the bench, would have been the difference for me.

I for one am shocked, I think you have a better chance of being struck by lightning twice on the same day for 8 years straight than me losing 3 games in a row.

Woo hoo, my first win.

Thanks to Geoff who helped me out immensly whilst I was out of the country and unable to select my picks. I entrusted him with my log on to sort my team out and he was a star for helping - he even sorted my picks for my pick 'em league.

Thank you thank you thank you.

It was my own fault for leaving the country early Tuesday morning and not selecting my picks for the week.

You're welcome, Turi. And to be clear to everyone, my only criterion for making his picks was using Yahoo's Projected Stats for Week 5, and using the players with the highest numbers. There were no judgment calls made. And as for his pick'm picks, I picked the same teams that the majority of Yahoo users picked, according to the Pick Distribution chart for Week 5. (How'd you do with that, anyway?)

8 out of 14 - not great but still a hell of a lot better than making no picks at all.

Just also to be clear to everyone as well; I was out on my hols in Spain, loving the sun, the pool, the villa, in a remote area in the hills. I went there to get away, shut out the world, read, have fun with my mates etc. etc.

And then it occurred to me on Saturday that I hadn't made my picks for my fantasy teams and I started to panic. Then I thought: "yes my phone, it has internet access". I was so glad I took it (only really took it to take pictures - and then only took 3).

But no, I was foiled again. I could access NFL.com but alas no yahoo or even the BB to let you guys know. But JG the little trooper is one of my facebook mates. I could access facebook and through many backwards and forwards messaging we worked out my log on and password (it turns out I have 2 yahoo profiles - one doesn't have any fantasy games on it - which confused the hell out of us both.

Anyway it all worked out, but the week I play JG, if I lose it'll be down to him hacking my team.

Ah I can't wait to face LN, its AP's bye week, so I'll show him how little RB's are needed.

Yeah, it's not like he'd get you any points anyway... whistle

Question Commish. I know we have these rules about playing a full team and all that but can I play AP on his bye week and my reason being that the team I'm playing sucks so much I don't need a full team? Would I still get a strike?

I get the feeling I've made this thread a little more fun...

At least I'm 5-0 in my money league. The guy actually called me today because I haven't mailed the check yet...I don't see the point of wasting the .42, I told him just take it out of my first place prize check...

Good news about the Colts being 2-2 and behind the Titans is that come playoff time Addai won't be on the bench. But then again neither will Yao's Reggie Wayne.

Who is Yao anyway?

BB stands for Big Brother or Brother Bigelow (which one, I don't know... PL gave him the initials). He's my older brother.
