My Dad sent me a copy of his new will in the mail. Now I'm depressed. Why, Miggie? It's nice that he thinks of the future for his daughter. It's not that PB, I just don't want to be reminded that one day he will be leaving this world.

The #1 cause of death is... life. Sucks, though.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

When I was very young, I remember the day that my family first installed a smoke detector in the house (Nope, they weren't always mandatory). But that gave me a fear for a while that the house was going to burn down.

Klyd, you and Mr. Babe would definitely get along well. His favorite thing to do on Halloween was to dress in a rubber mask, work boots, jeans and a flannel shirt. Then he would sit perfectly still by the front door with a big bowl of candy. Most kids weren't sure if he was a mannequin or not. Boys (mostly) would get brave and start boasting about stealing all the candy as they approached him. The minute their hands went into the bowl, he would stand up and say, "Would you like some candy?" and they would run shrieking into the night.
It was amazing how the kids fell for it three years in a row. Wow! My old roomate did the same thing, except the second year we made a dummy in the same outfit that sat there and a few kids remembered so when they walked up all cocky because they knew the joke, my roomate stepped up behind them from behind the bushes. It was hilarious. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

My daughter is turning 11 on Friday. So, she's having a sleep-over party at our house with about a dozen of her friends. My sons will be going out to the high school football game, and my wife will be going out with friends as well, leaving me with a houseful of 5th grade girls. My daughter is planning a lot of things to do, one of which is to take a late night walk through a wooded nature trail right behind the house. I planned a little fun of my own. Let's just say I have a place to hide near the trail. I also have a hood, a hockey mask and a chain saw. Kld, be very careful. Things are different these days and an innocent prank like you are contemplating could end up deleting you from the Board. if you want toscare the kids, do it when they return. But to tell you the truth, I wouldn't let them go in the first place. Maybe you ought to go with them.

Yep my Power s back on, we payed the bill
He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!" So what’s the labyrinth? That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Not to make you all jealous or anything, BUT I will be going to my grandaughter's Halloween festival at her preschool. I guess everyone is bringing something. She will be decorating a cake. I look forward to it. Btw, just because I seem to be owning the BB this morning, posting like there is no tomorrow Let me tell you guys. Wheneve I ring the doorbell at my daughter's house, I peek in the window...all three kids see me and you wouldn't believe the reception I get. "Grandma's here, "it's grandman", as all three run down the steps anxious to open the door. I tell my daughter that I feel like a Rock Star. Ha ha ha....Sweet little things...they're so young and no not what they do. I cherish every moment, because how long can this last hu??? I think I'll make a journal maring all these adorable things because before you know it, it'll be "Ho hum...grandma's here." TIS
