I'd definitely be down for a keeper league, DMC.

I love keeper leagues. *looks at lineup* We should start off with 1 keeper this year and then go to 2 next year...

Hmmmmmmm maybe I'll go with AP and Robbie Gould this week in my starting lineup.

I didn't play this yr b/c I couldn't make the draft time, but a keeper league is the way to go.

DB, does yahoo not allow you to do .1 scoring?

I always hate that if a player gets 9 yards he gets nothing.

Fractional points are allowed under Yahoo. I personally don't like fractional points so I disabled it. In the end, I think it's a wash (i.e. it usually doesn't affect the outcome of the matchup).

Oh because YOU don't like it that means it gets thrown away? tongue

I know what you are saying but I was looking and there was a tie this year, and also I just think that with 8 players sometimes it can effect the outcome.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass or anything, I was just curious.

You, DMC??? Noooooo. tongue wink

I say it doesn't usually affect matchups but two years in a row, we've had a tie.

I'll start my own league next year, we'll have fraction points, and free live updates and no running backs, at all.

JL, you said your team picked a bad week to not show up against LN, but this last weekend you picked a good opponent for your team to not show up again. That must be the lowest win total ever, 70 pts eek

You're probably right. I'll take the win, but that's 2 weeks in a row my team has stunk, and scored about 50 points below my projected score. ohwell

Yogi, you said you are going to the Saints/Chargers game in London right? Not only is that awesome to see two good teams but you can also root for your fantasy quarterback at the same time, Brees smile

It's not fair that you are going to an NFL game before me. I've still never been to one.

Hah, yeah. Whenever I get enough money to go to a sporting event I always spend it on Giants and Warriors games. I'm sure a football game would be fun to go to but I like seeing all the replays on tv.

I've been to only one NFL game -- the Giants -- must've been like 25 years ago. Great seats right on the 50 yard line, maybe a dozen rows back, and we even ate in the Stadium Club I think (my dad knew the NJ Senate president, who we went with wink ). Just don't ask me who they played or who won. whistle

It's fun to see sporting events live (I've been to a few MLB (Yanks, Cubs, Phils, Orioles) and NBA (Nets, w/ Plaw) games as well), but I agree that watching them on TV gives you the best view, replays, stats, etc -- and it's less effort and cheaper. wink But I love going to minor league baseball games!

I agree. I usually go to one NFL game a year, a Steelers game in December, and I go just to bring my sons. I was never at a postseason NFL game. And I'm happy just watching it on tv, especially now with the HD big screens. There is an excitement being there, but for the most part, I'd rather skip the driving and crowds.

Between NY Giant's Season Tickets, NY Rangers, and Mets games, I probably don't want to know how much I spend on sporting events a year.

Wow, Blibble and JG, if I were in your shoes I'd be taking advantage of the NFL a hell of a lot more. I'm a sports guy and go to games (soccer) as often as possible. Although I've only had chance to see Scunthorpe play once this season.

My internet was out, so my trash talking was halted temporarily.

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
