We went to a Halloween party 2 weeks ago. My son wants to be a gangster this year so I found him a gangster costume.

My younger daughter's friends are coming over after school and they'll hit up the neighborhood around 5 or so. My daughter, who just turned 14, bought a Gothic Nymph costume and she looked rather grown-up and sophisticated in it, which immediately depressed me.

Halloween where I'm from ends up being chaos. Fights, stabbings all kinds of random stupid shit.

Parents don't really let their kids go out on the city streets. I'm not sure what it's like in the outta city burbs though, Probably a lot more chilled.
