As a non-believer, I view religion as a rock in believers life foundation. If it helps you be a good person, cool. otherwise, I don't see its value.

While some people
do need religion to keep them on the straight and narrow, if you're a non-believer, who happens to be an inherently better human being and a more qualified candidate than your opponent, it shouldn't matter.
