What pisses me off is that the article in my local paper today says that the Governor will likely pick someone from upstate NY (Niagara Falls area) to fill her seat. NY is such a complicated state, with the needs of the Niagara region so different from the needs of the downstate region. There, the economy was depressed long before it hit here. Plus, the cost of living is so much less there. With someone from upstate in the seat, how can they really represent the downstate area???
