He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!" So what’s the labyrinth? That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

I'm taking a break from Whoring Christmas as we speak. I'm getting scratches on my arms from putting lights in the front yard plants, it's freezing, and I had a rather scary experience with a spider that had a body the size of a quarter. I couldn't see it's legs in the dark but I'm sure they were large and hairy. Awww, Big man afwaid of a wittle spider? I put up a Christmas tree at my mom's house a few weeks ago and the tree made my arms itch. Watched Christmas Vacation, Polar Express, and A Christmas Story
Long as I remember The rain been coming down. Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun; And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Edit Reason: As not to offend MaryCas, I changed the name LMFAO!!!!I actually entered this thread wondering if MC had posted his annual "Let's remember the real significance of Christmas" rant, and I've not been let down. Come on, MC, don't be a scrooge. Seriously, though, I'm really looking forward to Christmas break. I have a dissertation to complete on The Sopranos, and I have to read Ulysses, and compose the soundtrack to a short film I've shot, but it's going to be very merry indeed.
...dot com bold typeface rhetoric. You go clickety click and get your head split. 'The hell you look like on a message board Discussing whether or not the Brother is hardcore?

There you go MC, No More Christmas Whoring In the words of Hyman Roth, "You're a wise and considerate young man." I never did understanding that term "Whoring" when applied to topics on the board. I just can't connect with it no matter what the topic. as a verb, the dictionary defines the following: whored, whor·ing, whores 1. To associate or have sexual relations with prostitutes or a prostitute. 2. To accept payment in exchange for sexual relations. 3. To compromise one's principles for personal gain.

I'm glad you weren't "serious"(ly) about the Christmas "rant". I don't recall any rants myself. I've only ranted about the price of gasoline (greedy bastards). I may have commented on the use of "Xmas" in place of Christmas. Lazy people who take short cuts and abbreviations. As far as being "scrooge" (used inappropriately, I think), sorry, I can't help it. A few years ago I was fortunate to play Scoorge in the musical "Scrooge". One of my favorite songs from that show it aptly titled, "I Hate People".
