I got A Christmas Story on DVD from Target a year ago a day after Thanksgiving. It was about $4, got a bunch of others then too.

For Christmas I bought this stocking for my older son as a gag gift.

I saw an ornament today of the Frageelay box that you could open and see the leg in there

From the previews, it looks like it's full of destruction which was absolutely absent from the original.

I heard there's a Terminator 4 coming out. Can anyone confirm this? ALso Christian Bale is meant to be playing John Conner.

That's been on IMDB for awhile. Last I heard, it's a go.

Jay Leno may be sticking around NBC longer than previously thought. According to the New York Times, the network will announce on Tuesday that it has signed the comic and talk-show host to a new contract to host a 10 p.m. weeknight show similar to "The Tonight Show."

(Msnbc.com is a joint venture of Microsoft and NBC.)

NBC announced in 2003 that Conan O'Brien would take over "The Tonight Show" beginning in 2010.

I just now am hearing this too. Is there a reason they are doing this? I thought Leno was gonna quit altogether. I am surprised he is taking on another show.

I can't see a 10:00 talk show being successful.

Maybe it will be a weekly thing, rather than daily. Perhaps it will be like the old Ed Sullivan Show!

I think it's a big mistake. If they don't want to lose him to ABC (in the old Nightline slot), they should just roll out Fort Knox and keep him on the Tonight Show.

NBC's rationalization is that the talk shows are a LOT cheaper to produce than a series show.

I think they're nickle and diming themselves to death. They'll have FOUR talk shows in a row (interrupted only by the nightly local news).

It used to be that the "Tonight Show" was NBC's biggest money maker (certainly when Johnny Carson was hosting).

I think having Leno do this is a waste of his time and doomed for a quick failure.

I like it when he does the headlines segment.

I've never been a big Conan fan. I just find him annoying. If I am up late enough to watch anything, it's usually Letterman followed by Colin Ferguson, who I find very funny.

I watch Conan but he was a whole lot better when he didn't have writers.

Conan was better when he had Andy Richter as a sidekick. But I still love Conan. Although lately I've been enjoying Jimmy Kimmel the most. Personally I think Leno and Letterman are outdated and it's good to see new guys that are good like Conan, Kimmel, and even Ferguson is funny in his own weird Scottish way.

I watched an English comedy last night: DEATH AT A FUNERAL. I honestly haven't laughed so hard while watching a movie in years.

I have not seen that yet PB,but i would like to. It has a great cast.

It was absolutely hysterical, Yogi. Rent it TONIGHT!!

Field of Dreams is on Encore right now. I can't believe how much I like this movie.

I have to go to a stupid meeting at school tonight and I'm going to miss Criminal Minds again. Of course, it's not as good without Mandy Patinkin. Isn't that a great name?

Actually, to go completely off-topic, the best name I ever heard was Irma Aklu. I read her name in the obituaries, and will randomly say it out loud. It drives the girls crazy.

Especially since I say it like this - Irma A-klu. Aklu, Aklu, Aklu.

Then I may pretend to sneeze - Aklu!!

I thought that movie was funny as well. It ended so abruptly, but it's good English humor.
