CNN) -- Every day for a year, Tacey Willis looked for an eye-catching photo subject -- a ballerina, a rocker dude in a bookstore or three older ladies from the Red Hat Society. She allowed herself one shot each day, with only one piece of instant film.
Tacey Willis' "Day By Day Polaroid" project contains 365 photos, movies, songs and quotes.
But halfway through that year, Willis abruptly took the money she'd saved for a down payment on a car and bought every piece of Polaroid film she could find. Why? Because the Polaroid Corp. announced it would stop making instant film. And without it her project, "Day by Day Polaroid," would never be complete.
Sixty years after Polaroid introduced its first instant camera, the company's iconic film is disappearing from stores.
Although Polaroid says the film should be available into 2009, this is the final month of its last production year.

4000th post!!!
Geez, I need more hobbies. Keep them coming. You give us a unique perspective on just about everything. Haha. Thanks Klydon1. Glad you can appreciate some of my perspectives even if you don't agree. That's a big reason why I still visit this thread, I enjoy delving into peoples perspectives etc. I should have studied Psychology properly back in High school.

Well that's the catch. If I work full time, then I don't have the time to study and further develop my skills etc. I'll be stuck in a factory or a call center forever.
I couldn't even do study by correspondence as I'm busy with my music, shows, etc.
Oh well. You reap what you sow.

We rented apartments and hoses until we could afford to buy our own home. (italics mine) You couldn't even afford to buy a HOSE??? You really were poor. Olivant, Yes, there are those who have succeeded through sacrifice. However, when you haven't yet begun, it can seem overwhelming.

I just found out that Billy Joel and Elton John will be performing at the Pond in Anaheim on March 28. I mentioned to a couple friends I'd like to go and we all are started talking about an now are seriously considering it. Mr. NY State of Mind will be in my state. I'm so happy. It's very close for me as to who is better. I have (and love) music from both of hem. They are BOTH great, YET, unlike my friends, I'd give an edge to Billy Joel, whereas it's Elton for them. They both are wonderful though. It's a tough choice IMHO Anyway, if anyone knows any site where tickets may be a little more reasonable, please share. Btw, for anyone who may know. I noticed some bill this concert as Elton John with Billy Joel, and others, Billy Joel w/ Elton John. Do you think that indicates anything?? Like perhaps it's the one person's show, with the other joining in on several numbers. Anyone ever hear? I want an even split. TIS

Its not been proper here since the 80's and early 90's. I just thought that when snow stops falling in Britain, kids born after will never get to experience it. Awww!!

You should check to see if there's an internet pre-sale (check ticketmaster, then each one's official site). It's SO much easier ordering online during a presale (or even during the regular sale for acts that won't sell out quickly) than calling on the damn phone for hours... God I hated that! But this WILL sell out in minutes, so be prepared either way!
I've seen them both separately, and would love to see them together! I love'm both, they both put on great shows...
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Geoff, I am prepared to purchase a ticket at any time. I hope my friends don't hold me up. We only found out today, but I have purchased before on line thru a few different sources (ticketmaster, cheapseats, blockbustter, etc) It'll work out great because it's on a Saturday AND I'm on spring break Ha ha....so I can party hardy!!!! Mig, Anaheim is about 15 miles from me. I've never been to this particular arena but hear it is nice. If I'm not mistaken it's in a nice area, which is good for going to/from your car at night. Geoff, Have you every purchased from any of these listed? I have from stub hub and I have heard of seats direct, but the others listed are new to me. http://www.tickets-review.com/TIS

Come to the UK. Tell the authorities that you are being persecuted due to your musical tastes and that it is a direct threat to your human rights. Remember to talk about your human rights and civil liberties at every moment. You will then be given a house for free and more money than you could shake a big stick at. It works, honestly
