Whether I win or lose today, I think Antonio Bryant has to be one of the best free agent pickups this year. I picked him up on a bye week to replace Boldin's injury, and he's been awesome since.

Looks like I'll be regretting starting Seneca Wallace (0 pts at half) versus Big Ben (plays later). And perhaps replacing Gore with Tatum Bell (plays later) rather than DeShaun Foster (8 pts at half) and dropping Mason Crosby (7 pts at half) to play Matt Bryant (1 pt at half). rolleyes

That's how I felt swapping out Cassel for Orton. I wasn't sure if Cassel was going to play because his father died, but if he plays he'll probably score 40 points.

And why the hell do I listen to those Yahoo "experts"... one predicted a great day for Malcom Floyd (no receptions/points) and another said to stay clear of DeShaun Foster (11 pts so far). Even Fred Jackson has 8 pts. ohwell

I'll breathe a sigh of relief in the morning when the points are official. I'm worried about Minnesota's defense points changing. I don't think it will change 13 points, but I noticed on stattracker it says "8 pts. allowed" but Arizona scored 14 confused

A blocked field goal returned for a TD won't be attributed to your defense, so it appears correct...

My hats off to you, BL. You were the #1 seed for a reason - your team was able to overcome a poor outing from Orton and you still put up a buck thirty nine. Amazing. eek Surprisingly, we came close to our Yahoo projected points. lol

I thought I might have been able to pull off a Goombah and have a stirring late game comeback with one of my better WRs but TO is no Steve Smith. I was unable to overcome poor outings from my kicker and my RBs. From all the fantasy games we play here on the GBB, this is my "baby" - the one I most want to win (and the one that I think is hardest to win) - so this is going to sting for a little bit. ohwell lol

Good luck next week!

As for the other games, I think both GBB Bowl matchups will be nail-biters. 36 points + Philly D is tough to overcome, but with the way Westbrook has been playing, who knows. I have no feeling where the KL-DM matchup will go, so it should be exciting. In the consolation playoffs, the leads are relatively more safe, so it looks like a Yogi vs. LN matchup for 7th place. Both teams have come a long way from the start of the season.

Thanks DB. Like I said in the Boxing Thread, if I were Mexican, good looking and could hold a tune you would have beat me. It's a good thing I'm not any of those grin

I've been meaning to look at that. It has been strange that unlike the NCAA's, our playoffs are going according to seed.

There was no thread for 2003 but here was the finals by seed going into the playoffs:

2004: #3 vs. #4
2005: #3 vs. #5
2006: #3 vs. #4
2007: #2 vs. #4

This will be the first year that a #1 seed makes it. Surprising.

I wish I could have won like this during the season!

I have won/have the lead at the moment and should hang on in every game this week, 2 playoffs and 3 consolation.

I have a 600 point lead over a friend of mine who has Westbrook and Lewis to play. The scoring is crazy but as long as they don't get 600 yards rushing I should be okay. Crazy thing is my roster compared to his...

http://snapdraft.fanball.com/ It's kind of like the Gridiron game on ESPN you get a salary cap and pick a roster to outscore others.

NFL Fantasy football week by week (for money) Sign up and you get $5 to start.

I played in 3 games...a $2 (10 players), $2 (5 players), and $1 (5 players)

1st place wins in each ($16,$8,$4)

I GOT 2ND IN EVERY SINGLE F'N ONE!
