Should I make a separate thread for fantasy football?

KL 104
DM 101

Just wow... optimal lineups for both were 110. Will there be any adjustments overnight??

JG 159
GO 121

See you in the Championship Game, Blibble! Wow. I was Anti-Jinxing™ in overtime. grin Those Hail Mary's must've helped because my team really outperformed expectations! They worked for Fredo... whistle Great game, Goombah! You were always a really tough competitor!

Very true, like I said, no matter who won I knew I was in for a tough matchup in the finale.

JG, have you won this league before? I'm wondering if we will have a first time winner or if you have the chance to become a two-time winner.

Either way, I'm going into the last game with much respect.

According to my trophy case I won in '03, and won the points league in '06 -- but that doesn't matter, you're not a push-over (even though *I* should've been in 1st)! tongue wink

Who should I play out of these?

Pick 3
Larry Fitzgerald
Reggie Wayne
Calvin Johnson
Wes Welker

Pick 2
Addai/Rhodes
Johnathan Stewart
Jamal Lewis
Warrick Dunn
Tim Hightower

I am thinking I have to leave Welker out on the WRs

Stewart is starting and I have to gamble on Addai or Rhodes. BAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I hate these types of decisions for the league title.

No scoring in JG vs BL -- and so far I like how everything will be decided on Sunday! None of this Monday crap! lol

But on the other hand, not so good for Goombah, who had his WR Anthony Gonzalez (7) vs his own Jax Defense (0!)... Edge to DB, vs a usually formidable foe!

I'll be out of town early Friday 'til mid/late Saturday, but will try to keep an eye on things. Good luck, everyone! And get your sorry asses into the College Bowl game before 11am Saturday! tongue

Congrats to the two finalists Blibble & Geoff. I had not posted much on the BB lately, but I am starting to get back into the swing of things now. I'm already looking forward to next year's draft!

Would it be a good idea to set the draft order based on how we finished? Last place this year gets #1 pick next year and so on...

If this was a keeper league, that would make some sense, but since this is a "new" league each year, I think random makes more sense. I am starting to come around to the idea of making next year's football league a keeper one.

Any thoughts?

What happens if a person or two doesn't want to play in the second year of the keeper league? How is that handled? Also, how many players would we be allowed to keep from year to year?

Keeper Leagues always interest me, but I think I prefer the "new" league each year. Although, if you wanted to do both I would.

That's the problem with doing the keeper format in the GBB league - we can't guarantee that the same group of guys play from year to year (although we're pretty consistent).

I'd have to think of how to format the league - I've never been in one, that's why I find it intriguing.

I have too many guys who are game-time decisions panic

This started off looking like a bunch of good matchups with healthy guys, then all of a sudden everyone is questionable. I'm not feeling very good about this last game. frown
