I couldn't believe the announcement in Walmart yesterday (Christmas Eve) that the store would be closing at 6PM. I'm like what??? Maybe I heard wrong, cuz that sounds a bit ridiculous to me, for the nation's largest chain. If they were doing poorly, you'd think they'd stay open late. It's not like they pay much in salaries or anything to keep the usual 3 registers open.
Speaking of which, didn't they used to be spelled Wal-Mart? When did they change that?
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol
