I was named after my grandmother (mother's side), as Italian tradition naming after grandparents. I have no problem with my name, Ann. Could have been a whole lot worse with some real off the wall name. I had a cousin who's name was Illuminata (light). She hated it from grade school on when teachers/kids would has how to say it, or where it came from, etc. We ended up calling her Annette (her choice) her whole life.

Really though what's in a name? You get use to it eventually...well, most of the time. smile
