I saw some of those pics SC on Fox news that we get on satellite over here. Scary stuff!!

Had a light dusting of snow last night here in the high desert. High temp today only 41--probably get below 20 tonight.

How's the weather today? It sucks. It's going to suck tomorrow, too! You know why? Because it's January and we live in the Northeast. So it's going to suck for at least another 6 weeks or so. Maybe longer.

No school today. That is the 2nd day they used out of the 5 they are allowed.

We got a mixture of 6 inches of snow and ice. That was hard to shovel today.

This is the weather we get in February not January. I hope February will be alot easier.

We had 4" of snow here before it turned to rain... Now there is some VERY wet snow (it has a LOT of water in it) on the ground and it's gonna freeze up tonight. I'm glad I have no appointments tomorrow and I have enough food in the apartment so I don't have to go out in that yucky mess.

Next chance to a big storm is next Wednesday... still too early to predict if it'll be rain or snow BUT there's the potential for a LOT of whatever it'll be to fall.

I've got friends who wear shorts and a light jacket here in 20 degree weather. Just used to it.

I suggest that you come visit me in the winter and bring your shorts and t-shirt and help me shovel snow/ice.

Today it's 43 Degrees C, I'm not sure what that equals in America, But this weather is ridiculously hot.

We got about 5" of snow yesterday, followed by freezing rain, which made clearing the driveway difficult. Usually, I could push the fresh snow off, but this snow was heavy (commonly called the "heart attack snow"). My son and I shovelled out my next door, who are spending the week in sunny Southern California. If you let it go untouched and let it freeze, you almost need a pick to get it.

Still sucks.
