A total of 17 inches of lake-effect snow hit Porter County in the last 24 hours and it was still coming down at the start of the Wednesday morning commute.
Porter County was under a Level II State of Emergency Wednesday morning, according to Porter County Sheriff's Police dispatchers. A Level II State of Emergency means residents are strongly encouraged not to leave their homes and to stay off the roads unless there is an emergency.
I heard up to 24 inches now... It's still snowing.
Long as I remember The rain been coming down. Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun; And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
