I used to work for Admissions at a University. I received hundreds of calls a day. I've been yelled at plenty. It's good for a laugh.

I had a call from some group named something like "Decency in Media". They wanted me to support their efforts to limit sex and nudity in films and television. I told them I didn't think there was ENOUGH sex and nudity in films and television. Then I added, "As a matter of fact, I'm nude right now!"

I think the poor guy had a heart attack and died!

I wasn't necessarily gonna watch it, but I see it's on at 6:00 p.m. her in CA. That's good since it won't interefere with my evening tv shows (although I know Desperate Housewives is a repeat).

The red carpet starts at 3:00 (here) so I can see what everyone is wearing. I did hear a "rumor" that due to the economy situation that some celebs will "dress down." Think that'll really happen? rolleyes

Anyway, really, the main award I want to see is Heath Ledger's since, to me anyway, it is now one of the best movie villians of all time.

I'm off to get my red carpet gown now. lol
