Nah! Say something like that to your wife and I doubt you'll be getting it. j/k.

This ruined my day.
PHIL MICKELSON SUSPENDS SEASON AFTER WIFE IS DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER
Phil Mickelson has suspended his season indefinitely after his wife, Amy, was diagnosed with breast cancer, it was announced Wednesday morning.
The couple married in 1996 and have three children, aged nine, seven and six.
Mickelson was due to play the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Dallas beginning Thursday and defend his Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth next week. There was no word on whether Mickelson will miss next month's U.S. Open at Bethpage but at this point, his participation would have to be considered a long shot.
Several players competing in the Byron Nelson Championship got text messages from Mickelson Tuesday night.
"I got one at about 10 o'clock, and I had a hard time sleeping, just thinking about that," said Scott Verplank. "My wife was already asleep next to me there, so when I woke up this morning she woke up for a minute, so I told her. So I think she's probably worried about it now.
"Every time I've been around her she's always got a smile on her face," Verplank said. "She's always upbeat, much like Phil. We've been over to their house to have dinner and spent some dinners on the road at these (Ryder and Presidents) Cup things. She's a neat girl."
This isn't the first time breast cancer has hit the pro golf circuit hard. Darren Clarke's wife, Heather, died after a four-year battle six weeks before the 2006 Ryder Cup. Clarke went on to be one of Europe's heroes that week and cried afterwards for 15 minutes. European captain Ian Woosnam dedicated the victory to Heather at the presentation.
Earlier that year, Padraig Harrington donated his winnings at the PGA to breast cancer research in Clarke's behalf.
During the week, Clarke noted how the American team and their wives had been especially supportive.
On Monday, former LPGA star Val Skinner held her 10th annual LIFE Event at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J., where 28 LPGA pros helped raise another $500,000 in a Pro Am. Skinner lost her close friend and fellow LPGA player Heather Farr to breast cancer in 1993.
"I got news for you. If it wasn't for the toilet, there would be no books." --- George Costanza.

Another Cleveland sports team circling the drain. I have reached my breaking point with sports in this town and there is no turning back. I can't root for other teams because I view that as being a front-runner. I lost the last of my fervor for Cleveland sports yesterday after Game 4.
The Indians put a stake through my heart in the 1997 World Series and the final nail in the coffin in the 2007 ALCS. The Browns have been in the Top 5 worst professional sports organizations since returning to the NFL 11 years ago. The Cavs will probably win one more game this series and then lose this town's best opportunity for a ring in the 38 years I have been on this earth. Maybe Mrs. goombah better hide your belts and shoelaces. Just remember: it's only a game, and the true joy of following sports lies in the journey and not the destination. I know you're a very loyal guy, and I appreciate your determination to remain a Cleveland fan. But, for God's sake, it's not too late for your son. Get him a Terrible Towel and a Santonio Holmes/ Ben Roethlisberger/James Harrison/Jack Lambert (all Ohio boys) jersey, so he can taste true happiness. If the Penguins win their series against Detroit, all of my favorite teams from the NBA, MLB, NFL and NHL will have won championships in a 12 month period. That's more luck than I deserve.

Anyone seen Spike Lee's movie "Kobe Doin' Work" ?
Is it any good? I watched it and was disappointed. It was Kobe wearing a microphone during a game with Kobe doing a subsequent voice over to comment on the comments he was making during the game. I didn't gain any real insight about how Kobe prepares for and plays the game. I don't know if he talked more during this game because he was wearing a mic, but it appeared to me as the game progressed, his teammates were tuning him out. One thing's for sure though: he plays on a level all by himself and LeBron. While I didn't get much out of it, I wouldn't advise you to skip the show. You likely have deeper understanding of the game, and can probably appreciate it more than I.

I am watching the World Rugby Sevens Tournament currently playing in Edinburgh,Scotland. The United States are involved and seem to have a few fans there in the crowd. One of them appears to be Abraham Lincoln He is sitting with some cowboys and some native Americans..... I always thought Lincoln was a serious, sober individual? This one is drinking beer and dancing!!!!
I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees!
