Anyone else hear about this new Sopranos wannabe Series that will be released only on the web? Looks interesting at least.

Jersey Sure Exit 82 is a story created and shot entirely by a New Jersey cast & crew. The script is written and co-produced by former Boston Police Investigator Bill Kelly and directed and co-produced by college English professor Omar Elbaga. It initially was being produced to be a feature film, although due to tribulations faced during the making, producers thought it would be more beneficial to take it straight to the web, straight to viewers so that users can view episodes right away instead of waiting out distribution. This is a real series shot on location. You'll love it. New Jersey style!

An ensemble cast of Non Italian un-made gangsters based on the New Jersey shore work closely with the north Jersey Italian mafia. They know if they need someone taken out or something handled for sure they can depend on the Jersey Sure boys. From the land of the Irish mafia, South Boston, MA, also know as Southie, the leader Danny Coyle, a known gangster moved as a teenage boy to Toms River, NJ. His grandmother raised Danny's identical twin brother Frank in Southie due to his high grades at St. Paula's Parochial School who ended up receiving a degree from Harvard's School of Business. Drama ensues when they meet.

Umm... Exit 82? Well, you got a hospital in one direction (the one in which I was born), and in the other direction (heading East to Seaside Heights) you got, well... some fast food joints, car dealerships, and a couple diners.

How exciting -- I can't wait to see this! rolleyes lol

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

If Chase had kept the Sopranos going then us mob hungry westerners wouldn't crave this "wannabe series".

lol

This has the potential to be so bad it's an instant classic. It was supposed to be a movie. Not only did it not make it to the movies, it bypassed "straight to DVD" and went straight to the web.

Snappers are those who are ridiculed.

This: lol and this: rolleyes is your way of going against this "Sopranos wannabe". If David Chase had carried on the Sopranos, then this guy could have been spared the negative comments towards his to - the - internet show.

Um, no..... this has nothing whatsoever to do with The Sopranos, because even the most feeble minds would realize that....... oh, never mind..... I'm ridiculing this particular trailer because it, in and of itself, without comparison to any other series -- successful or not -- looks laughable. And if I can compare it to The Sopranos and other mob pieces we've seen -- it looks amateurish. And I'm not saying that because I LIVE HERE, where it's supposed to take place -- but because we've ALL seen good and bad projects in this genre.

As for Snappers... if they're the ones "who are ridiculed" then those making this are "snappers"? And if so, why on earth would someone want to become one???

What??

They are Snappers now. For example, what would you do if you wrote a mob book and it was hated by 70% of the readers?

I wouldn't write a book that would be hated wink .... but I get what you're saying. I think.

The fact that the more I watch the full trailer, the more I laugh, isn't a good sign for this project. lol

Laugh as I raked in the money? Start on another book?

Why do they spell it "Jersey Sure"? I thought it was spelled Shore?

The trailer says, "...that's why the Italians refer to us as the Jersey Sure Boys -- S.U.R.E" -- cuz they're sure to get the job done.

Web site's down... YouTube video set to Private... I guess that's it? Damn... I was looking forward to a comedy! whistle

I found the trailer here, though:
