I made him several offers for Beltran, including grossly overpaying for him. At pone point I think I offered him A-Rod and Josh Hamilton. He never responded to any of them. Yogi is still learning the game of baseball and, I'm guessing, was worried about being ripped off by a bunch of Americans and one Brazilian who know the game well.
