Let's plug in a value for "P" and do the math.

Let's say for the sake of argument that the chances of getting an egg with a double yolk is 1/10.

For simplicity, let's round off the 275/365 to 3/4

So the equation becomes

(.75)*3*(.10)* (.75)*3*(.10)

or, about 1.68%.

That sounds about right, since the chances of getting the double yolk if he ate one egg every day would be .10 x .10, or 1%.
